Leva in Claude

Quantity takeoffs from PDF construction drawings.

Run a takeoff in Leva, follow it on the marked-up drawing and read measured quantities with their review status.

Leva turns PDF construction drawings into measured quantities. It’s built for building-materials suppliers, and works for builders, contractors and estimators who need a takeoff. Every quantity comes from a measurement saved on the drawing, so a person can check where it came from.

  1. Connect your account

Create a Leva account, then add Leva as a Claude connector. Sign in with your Leva account (OAuth).

  2. Add drawings and choose the scope

Ask Claude for a takeoff. Claude creates the job in Leva and gives you a link to upload the PDF drawings, or fetches them from an https link you provide. Set a usual scope, such as rebar and mesh, waffle pods or tiles, or choose it per job.

  3. Check the takeoff

Leva measures the drawings while you carry on. Claude shows the takeoff’s stage and quantity count, with a button that opens the marked-up drawing in Leva, and reports each measured quantity with its review status. Answer Leva’s questions in the chat or ask for changes to what’s measured.
